B&B De Kleine Kolonel hosts up to four guests in two en-suite double rooms named “The Old Stables” and “The Hay Loft”. The cottage offers a comfortable lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. With its characteristic thatched & tiled roof, the cottage is an independent accommodation located adjacent to our home. De Kleine Kolonel has a sunny south facing terrace, while a large green orchard with oak and horse chestnut trees provides plenty of shade and space to relax. Parking is available immediately adjacent to the accommodation.
Inside you will find a comfortable lounge, a kitchen and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom equipped with floor heating, bath, shower, basin and toilet. We offer our guests a choice.
- 1. B&B for 1-2 persons (1x room) or 2-4 people (2x rooms), including breakfast.
- 2. Holiday Home – self catering – max. 4 persons, the entire cottage to yourself.
The kitchen is equipped with all the latest appliances, while the former coach entrance offers a spectacular view of the gardens, the neighbouring fields and the distant forest.
Breakfast is served in the main lounge at an agreed time. Whenever the weather permits breakfast is served outside on the terrace. The kitchen has a fridge, cooker, oven and microwave. The lounge offers a comfortable seating area, a bookcase, TV, CD player, as well as a DVD player. Everything to ensure you have a enjoyable and comfortable stay.
The bedrooms offer Pullman “boxspring” beds. These can be placed as either a double or two single beds. Please let us know in advance (at reservation) which arrangement has your preference. One bedroom is at ground level, the other has an internal staircase between the bathroom (downstairs) and the upstairs bedroom. Both bedrooms are located at the rear of the building overlooking the wild pastures of the National Park.
B&B De Kleine Kolonel welcomes guests from 18 years of age. The B&B is smoke free, we offer free WIFI and excellent heating to keep you warm on a cold winters day. As we wish to guarantee all guests a relaxing and comfortable stay, our B&B is not suitable for pets.
